After writing for many years, the Brontë Mumma found her true literary calling after having her babies. As a way to keep in touch with family scattered across the globe, the Brontë Mumma started writing developmental updates from the point of view of baby Brontë. When responses began to come back addressed to Brontë and discussing the pitfalls of parents, she knew she'd found her niche and Toddler on Tour was born. Also known as Francesca L McLinden, the Brontë Mumma graduated from the University of Kent with honours and later went on to study at the International School of Screen Acting before a spell of time writing for the Isle of Wight County Press. She is a professional pianist, choir leader and fully qualified counsellor. She seeks adventure and travel, and aims to find the joy in the everyday. Her toddler thinks that her hobbies include washing, ironing and pitiful attempts at cleaning, but that's not entirely accurate. When time permits, the Brontë Mumma enjoys reading, music, walking in the great outdoors, learning obscure facts and dreaming of her next big adventure. She lives in hope that she will be able to finish a cup of tea before it gets cold. Currently, the Brontë Mumma lives on the Isle of Wight with her husband and two children.
