Are superheroes born or made? Is it possible that superhero character traits live in everybody? Jackson didn't think superheroes were real until the storm - the storm that changed his point of view. That's when lightning, in all it's beautiful, wild, powerful, deadly, and unpredictable force rewrote his personal dictionary. Sizzling across the sky, lightning illuminates and blinds as it burns from point A to point B. When lightning strikes, it can fundamentally change what it touches. Jackson wasn't paying much attention to the approaching thunderstorm until he was in the middle of it, and even then it wasn't at the center of his attention.
