Dr. M. Kalayarasan is Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in theDepartment of Mechanical Engineering, PSG College of Technology, India. He obtained his B.E. (Mech) and M.E. (Engineering Design) from Kongu Engineering College and Ph.D. from Anna University, India. His research interests include machine tool design, alternate materials for machine tools, contact mechanics and biomaterials. He has published 15 peer-reviewed international journal papers and 20 international and national conference papers. He was the co-investigator for a project sponsored by the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India.
Dr. P. K. Jain is currently serving as Director in Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Roorkee in 1987. He obtained his M.E and Ph.D from the University of Roorkee in 1989 and 1996 respectively. He has over two decades of teaching and research experience. His research is focused on CAD/CAM, CAPP, concurrent engineering, design for manufacture, manufacturing systems, modelling and simulation, conventional and unconventional both (EDM, WEDM, ECM, ECH), surface Engineering and coatings. He has published about 108 peer-reviewed international journal papers and 47 conference proceedings and authored several text books. Dr. P. K. Jain has received various awards which includes Star Performer from IIT Roorkee for the year 2004 and 2005 and Career Award for Young Teachers from AICTE during 1998.
Dr. Janakarajan Ramkumar is Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (ITI) Kanpur. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Trichy in 1987. He obtained his M.E and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras in 1999 and 2002, respectively. He was the investigator of 22 research projects, sponsored by DST, ARDB, BARC, MHRD, DRDO, etc. He haspublished about 175 peer-reviewed international journal papers, 105 peer reviewed conference proceedings, holds 63 patents and authored several test books. Prof. Ramkumar received various awards which includes Gandhian Young Technological Innovation (GYTI) award, Eminent Engineer Award 2019, Outstanding Scientist for his contribution and achievement in the field of mechanical engineering, Bharat Vikas Award for his contribution towards developing new products for inclusive society, Ram Tiwari Chair of IIT Kanpur, etc.

Das Dateiformat PDF zeigt auf jeder Hardware eine Buchseite stets identisch an. Daher ist eine PDF auch für ein komplexes Layout geeignet, wie es bei Lehr- und Fachbüchern verwendet wird (Bilder, Tabellen, Spalten, Fußnoten). Bei kleinen Displays von E-Readern oder Smartphones sind PDF leider eher nervig, weil zu viel Scrollen notwendig ist. Mit Wasserzeichen-DRM wird hier ein „weicher” Kopierschutz verwendet. Daher ist technisch zwar alles möglich – sogar eine unzulässige Weitergabe. Aber an sichtbaren und unsichtbaren Stellen wird der Käufer des E-Books als Wasserzeichen hinterlegt, sodass im Falle eines Missbrauchs die Spur zurückverfolgt werden kann.
