Francisco M. Gonzalez-Longatt is currently Full Professor in electrical power engineering at Institutt for elektro, IT og kybernetikk, Universitetet i Sørøst-Norge, Norway. His academic qualifications include first class in Electrical Engineering of Instituto Universitario Politécnico de la Fuerza Armada Nacional, Venezuela (1994), Master of Business Administration (Honors) of Universidad Bicentenaria de Aragua, Venezuela (1999), Ph.D. in Electrical Power Engineering from the Universidad Central de Venezuela (2008), Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Professional Practice from Coventry University (2013), and Diploma in Leadership and Management (ILM Level 3), Loughborough University (2018). He is Vice-President of Venezuelan Wind Energy Association, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK), Senior Member of the IEEE, Member of The Institution of Engineering and Technology-The IET (UK), and Member of International Council on Large Electric Systems-CIGRE. His research interest includes innovative (operation/control) schemes to optimize the performance of future energy systems.
Selvanayaki Kolandapalayam Shanmugam is currently working as Associate Professor in Computer Science, Concordia University, Chicago, USA. She had over all 15+ years of lecturing sessions for theoretical subjects, experimental and instructional procedure for laboratory subjects. She presented more research articles in the national & international conferences and journals. Her research interest includes image processing, video processing, soft computing techniques, intelligent computing, Web application development, object-oriented programming like C++, Java, scripting languages like VBscript and Javascript, data science, algorithms, data warehousing and data mining, neural networks, genetic algorithms, software engineering, software project management, software quality assurance, enterprise resource planning, information systems, and database management systems.
Ivan Izonin, graduated from Lviv Polytechnic National University in 2011 (M.Sc. in Computer Sciences) and Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in 2012 (M.Sc. in Economic Cybernetics). He got his Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence in 2016. He is currently working as Assistant at Publishing Information Technologies Department, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lviv, Ukraine. He has published more than 80 publications, including 8 patents for inventions and 1 tutorial. His major research interests are computational intelligence; high-speed neural-like systems; non-iterative machine learning algorithms. Dr. Izonin participated in developing two international Erazmus+ projects - MASTIS and DocHub. He is Technical Committee Member of several international conferences.

Das Dateiformat PDF zeigt auf jeder Hardware eine Buchseite stets identisch an. Daher ist eine PDF auch für ein komplexes Layout geeignet, wie es bei Lehr- und Fachbüchern verwendet wird (Bilder, Tabellen, Spalten, Fußnoten). Bei kleinen Displays von E-Readern oder Smartphones sind PDF leider eher nervig, weil zu viel Scrollen notwendig ist. Mit Wasserzeichen-DRM wird hier ein „weicher” Kopierschutz verwendet. Daher ist technisch zwar alles möglich – sogar eine unzulässige Weitergabe. Aber an sichtbaren und unsichtbaren Stellen wird der Käufer des E-Books als Wasserzeichen hinterlegt, sodass im Falle eines Missbrauchs die Spur zurückverfolgt werden kann.
