This book is a translation of the original German edition "Innovationsstrategie" by Huber et al., published by Springer-Verlag Germany in 2023. The translation was done with the help of artificial intelligence. A subsequent human revision was done primarily in terms of content, so that the book will read stylistically different from a conventional translation.
Daniel Huber, Dipl. Ing ETH and MTE IMD, worked until his retirement in 2018 as a Professor of Innovation Management and Head of the Management Center at the Bern University of Applied Sciences. Prior to his role at the Bern University of Applied Sciences, he worked for more than 20 years at Swisscom, including seven years as Deputy Head of the Innovation Department. Daniel Huber was Co-President of swissfuture, the Swiss Association of Future Researchers, until 2021, and is a partner at the innovation consulting firm inobooster.com. He is co-author of the book "Bridging the Innovation Gap - Blueprint for the Innovative Enterprise" (Springer, 2017).
Heiner Kaufmann, MSc ETH Mech. Eng., EMBA in Innovation Management, works as an expert in Innovation Management in the corporate development of Swiss Federal Railways (SBB). Previously, he was a partner at the innovation consulting firm Creaholic SA and a Professor of Innovation Management at the Bern University of Applied Sciences. In the early years of his career, he was a manager and project leader in various high-tech companies and the founder of a software start-up and a consulting firm. Heiner Kaufmann is the co-author of the book "Bridging the Innovation Gap - Blueprint for the Innovative Enterprise" (Springer, 2017).
Martin Steinmann, Business Economist HWV and EMBA graduate from the University of Fribourg at the International Institute of Management in Telecommunications (IIMT), has been working as an independent business consultant in strategy and innovation management since 2002. Additionally, he is a lecturer and expert in strategy, entrepreneurship, and innovation management at universities of applied sciences. Das Dateiformat PDF zeigt auf jeder Hardware eine Buchseite stets identisch an. Daher ist eine PDF auch für ein komplexes Layout geeignet, wie es bei Lehr- und Fachbüchern verwendet wird (Bilder, Tabellen, Spalten, Fußnoten). Bei kleinen Displays von E-Readern oder Smartphones sind PDF leider eher nervig, weil zu viel Scrollen notwendig ist. Mit Wasserzeichen-DRM wird hier ein „weicher” Kopierschutz verwendet. Daher ist technisch zwar alles möglich – sogar eine unzulässige Weitergabe. Aber an sichtbaren und unsichtbaren Stellen wird der Käufer des E-Books als Wasserzeichen hinterlegt, sodass im Falle eines Missbrauchs die Spur zurückverfolgt werden kann.
