My ABC 'Chair' Book (Revised)

MY ABC 'CHAIR' BOOK, (Revised), is a pictorial early learning book for young children. Each alphabet is represented by two chair designs from the author's Guinness World Record collection of 3,000 miniature chairs, (not doll furniture). This collection, with quirky chair designs, can provide a unique learning opportunity to increase language development with young readers, 'Chairs with a different purpose: Not for sitting. ' Some of the selected chair designs include lamp, for letter 'L,' clock, for letter 'C,' teapot, for letter 'T,' cookie jar for letter 'C,' inkwell for letter 'I,' The chairs ranges in length from 3 to 24 inches, with a wide array of material. They are exhibited within the author's miniature chair museum, Collectible & Antique Chair Gallery. The collection & museum have received national & international recognition. This stimulating book can provide education, engagement, and entertainment to stretch the imagination of young readers.

The author is a retired registered nurse, and a collector of miniature chairs for thirty-five years. She established a Guinness World Record in 2008 for 3,000 miniature chairs, (not doll furniture), opened a miniature chair museum, to exhibit the collection in 2009, (Collectible & Antique Chair Gallery), and authored several publications with her collection. The collection and museum have received national and international recognition with magazines, newspapers, book, travel websites, interviews with NPR radio and PBS TV. She maintains membership with the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators, the Author's Guild, Georgia Association of Museums, and the Small Museum Association.
