Humanity's Utopia Unravels as an Alien Conspiracy Threatens All in this Masterful Space Opera
In the extraordinary second volume of Peter F. Hamilton's Salvation Sequence, the twenty-third century's comparative utopia is about to change forever. Feriton Kane's team has uncovered a terrifying truth: the seemingly benign Olyix plan to harvest humanity and deliver this apocalyptic cargo to their god at the universe's end. As the aliens' agents conclude schemes on Earth, vast warships converge above. . .
Some factions urge humanity to flee and hide amongst the stars, but others refuse to surrender. As disaster looms, they must unite in one goal: eliminating the enemy from existence. 'Action-oriented hardcore science fiction at its page-turning best' (The Guardian), Salvation Lost is 'a masterclass in tension and spectacle' (Gareth L. Powell, Embers of War) that 'readers of Salvation will have hoped for' (Stephen Baxter, Time).
