Dr. Varinder Garg completed his MBBS and MD in radiology from Government Medical College Patiala, India. He is a radiologist and an officer on special duty (OSD) to the Union Health Minister, Government of India, and a principal investigator of ICMR- CIBioD, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India. Dr. Garg was also the medical officer for the Government of Punjab and Haryana. He has organized several seminars, meetings, and team-building activities such as Atmanirbhar Bharat, India as a manufacturing hub for global health 2020, a conclave on yoga for health and wellness 2019, Indian health conclave 2019, a workshop on affordable health care 2018, a workshop on medical devices and Indian perspective 2017, etc. Dr. Garg's areas of interest include designing a global hub for indigenous medical devices, and various aspects of patient care including affordable medicines and health technologies. He is also the president of the Society for Affordable Healthcare and is involved in various projects of 'Sewa Bharti' and started a doctor's group called 'Medicos for Nation'.
Dr. Manoj Goyal completed his MBBS and MD from Government Medical College (GMC), Patiala, India, and DM from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, Bangalore, India. Currently, Dr. Goyal is an additional professor of neurology at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India. He has published over 135 papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
Dr. Harish Kumar completed his PhD in computer science from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. He is a professor in the computer science and engineering department at the University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), Panjab University. Dr. Kumar is also the co-founder of the telecommunication research laboratory at Panjab University. He has completed several projects funded by different industries/governments to his credit such as digital kisan, CPSD, and satellite-based identification of active fire locations.

Das Dateiformat PDF zeigt auf jeder Hardware eine Buchseite stets identisch an. Daher ist eine PDF auch für ein komplexes Layout geeignet, wie es bei Lehr- und Fachbüchern verwendet wird (Bilder, Tabellen, Spalten, Fußnoten). Bei kleinen Displays von E-Readern oder Smartphones sind PDF leider eher nervig, weil zu viel Scrollen notwendig ist. Mit Wasserzeichen-DRM wird hier ein „weicher” Kopierschutz verwendet. Daher ist technisch zwar alles möglich – sogar eine unzulässige Weitergabe. Aber an sichtbaren und unsichtbaren Stellen wird der Käufer des E-Books als Wasserzeichen hinterlegt, sodass im Falle eines Missbrauchs die Spur zurückverfolgt werden kann.
