James R. Fogg Jr. told the world about his narrow escape from disaster while elk hunting in his first book, One Glorious Night.
In this sequel, his fortunes have greatly improved, rewarding him with a wonderful turn of events.
At the age of eighty-one and feeling spry, the author decided to go elk hunting once again to test his skill and endurance against a formidable foe. He had no clue whether he would be rewarded for his efforts as he ventured into the high mountain country of Colorado.
A bull elk that he did not yet know was awaiting his arrival-but only the Lord knew it. Neither the bull nor the author suspected their chance meeting.
Despite the author's hardships, one message comes through loud and clear in his first book and in this one: In good times or bad, close friendships are among the most precious gifts of life- and we must hold onto them. Life would be so much less meaningful without loyal friends.
When you least expect it, your strength, courage, and determination will be tested. Find out how one man has risen to the task in One Gratifying Day.
