Section 1 of this book is designed to help you get the most out of the compulsory basic training (CBT) course. Check it as you progress through each element, and it'll help you gain a better understanding of what you need to achieve. The other sections will help you learn to ride competently and prepare for and pass your practical motorcycle test modules. Section two describes all the Key skills you'll need, from legal responsibilities through to how to cope with challenging weather conditions and road surfaces. Section three is all about the theory and practical tests, your test machine, and how to book your tests. Section four describes Module 1, the off-road practical riding test and includes comprehensive instruction on all the manoeuvres and skills you'll need to master. Section five is all about Module 2, the on-road practical riding test, with instruction and what's expected concerning eyesight, safety, stopping and moving away, independent riding, and the enhanced rider scheme. Finally, Section six describes the retesting process and how to apply for a retest.
