Dr Prasanna Chandra is the director of the Centre for Financial Management, Bangalore. A gold medallist throughout his university
career, he holds a BCom, MBA and PhD from Osmania University.
He has over five decades of teaching experience in postgraduate and executive education programmes. He was professor of finance at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore for over two decades, and visiting professor of finance at Southern Illinois University, USA for two years.
He has served on several committees, including the Capital Issues Advisory Committee and the SEBI Committee on Derivatives. He has also served on the boards of several organisations, including Torrent

He has also authored over seventy articles in professional journals and business periodicals.
