This book presents the latest technology of sustainable nanomaterials for applications as drug delivery cargos in tackling various inflammatory diseases. The chapters in this book describe nanotechnology-based drug delivery strategies, the mechanistic insights of nanoformulations and their application in managing inflammation diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, ulcerative colitis, cancer and neurological disorder. It looks into the challenges of using nanomaterials-based smart materials for enhanced therapeutic efficacy while maintaining safe and sustainable procedures. The book is divided into three main sections: A) Fundamental of smart nanocarriers and nanoformulations targeted drug delivery in inflammatory disease; B) Smart nano drug delivery therapy- an emerging approach towards inflammatory diseases and C) Novel nano delivery strategies in targeting major inflammatory diseases. The book targets early researchers and clinical practitioners who are interested in the management and treatment of inflammatory diseases using nanotechnology-based drug delivery systems.
Dr. Md. Meraj Ansari is Research Professor in the Department of Animal Biotechnology at Jeju National University in South Korea. He earned his Ph.D. in Toxicology from Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi, India. His primary research interests focus on developing nano-drug delivery systems to address inflammatory diseases. Dr. Ansari has received Young Scientist Award from the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. He previously worked as Young Scientist at the Centre of Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology in the Department of Pharmaceutics at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, SAS Nagar, Mohali, Punjab, India. He has also contributed to research at the Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali, Punjab.
Dr. Anil K. Suresh is Associate Professor at the Department of Biotechnology, SRM University-AP, Amaravati, India. He received his M.Sc. in Biotechnology (2001) from Pondicherry Central University, India by qualifying JNU Merit Scholarship Award (1999). He obtained his Ph.D. in Biotechnology (2007) from National Chemical Laboratory affiliated to Pune University, India upon qualifying CSIR-UGC Fellowship Award (2001-2002). He got trained as Visiting Scholar/Postdoc (2007-2009) at McGill University, Canada, as Research Associate (2009-2011) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, USA. He then worked as Staff Scientist (2011-2013) at City of Hope, California, USA. He returned to India as Ramalingawsami Fellow (2013), a prestigious competitive Award given by Department of Biotechnology. He is currently Principal Investigator for his Biomedical Nanotechnology AND Sustainable Laboratory.
Dr. Nadeem Akhtar, Scientist, is currently making significant strides in the animal health and longevity sector for a leading Canadian company, CBS Bio Platforms Inc. His impressive background demonstrates that he has held a variety of important positions in academia and research throughout his career.
Dr. Akhtar was Research Associate at the University of Guelph, Canada, where the objective of his work was to improve companion animal's health in order to promote a superior and more health-conscious lifestyle. Prior to assuming this position, he excelled as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Waterloo, Canada (2019-2021) and the Department of Animal Biosciences, University of Guelph, Canada (2015-2019).

Dateiformat: PDFKopierschutz: Wasserzeichen-DRM (Digital Rights Management)
Systemvoraussetzungen:
