This volume deals with the development and application of a new numerical method, the Fictitious Canonic Region Method (FCR method). It is used to solve a wide range of problems in the continuum mechanics field and can be considered as a modification of the boundary element method. At present there are many numerical methods resulting in approximate solutions of boundary problems and similarly, there are few methods resulting in exact solutions of boundary problems. The FCR combines these two extreme approaches and provides numerical algorithms to solve problems in an analytical form. The solutions assume reliable error rating.
