Integrated optics is the technology of integrating various optical elements on substrate material. Several materials have required for integrating various optical elements. Stringent requirement of the today's technology is to develop a single material to design all these optical components of integrated optics. Herein, we have studied possibilities of conducting polymers to fulfil the above requirement. Thermal effect, environmental impact as well as effect of chopping technique is also included in this book.
