Systems Management

Using the systems management concepts defined by ISO, this book defines an application programming interface (API) for providing access to management information services which are abstracted in terms of notifications and operations on managed objects. It covers access to the Internet Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) and the OSI Common Management Information Protocol (CMIP) to transfer information between systems.
