Rainer Wortmann is a Detective Chief Superintendent (Senior Captain) in the police records department at the police headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany. He has been creating composites since 1997. D/C. Supt. Wortmann trains police artists both nationally and to a
certain extent internationally for several European countries.
Dr. Heike Mendelin is a qualified psychotherapist with a degree in clinical und police psychology. Since 2004 she has worked and researched in the field of composite sketching, both in Germany and in South Africa, in academia as well as in police work. Alongsside her lecturing activities, she is currently working at her own practice as a psychotherapist.
