Up the Down Escalator

The autobiography of Glyn Worsnip, this book describes his experiences of auditioning for the BBC TV programme "That's Life". When the offer of a part in a play came up Worsnip had to decide whether to accept the part or carry on with the auditions. He decided on the latter and the book then follows his progress through interviews, practice working sessions and auditions until he receives confirmation from Esther Rantzen that he has the job of a place on the "That's Life" team.
