From the Sea

Since the early 1980s, photographer Brian Wolff has travelled the world capturing images of life in the US Navy and Marine Corps. Author John Alexander has 22 years of service as a navy Public Affairs Officer and has interviewed submarine skippers, coast guards, Top Gun pilots and instructors, yellow shirts, SEALs and other US Navy personnel. In addition, the book provides the facts and figures on all the hardware necessary to keep the US Navy in readiness, from aircraft carrier to LPD amphibious transport.
