Dr Ryan Thomas Williams is the course tutor for the online DBA programme at Teesside University, UK, and an honorary associate lecturer at the University of Liverpool, UK. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. His research focuses on incorporating technology into pedagogy. Ryan is also interested in contemporary issues related to research methods, such as the ethical implications of using artificial intelligence for data analysis. Ryan's research has been published in business and social science journals, including Practice: Contemporary Issues in Practitioner Education, Frontiers in Education, and the Berkman Klein Publication Series from Harvard University, USA. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he devised a series of research methods workshops for NHS employees transitioning into managerial positions. This project was funded by the European Social Fund. In 2014, Ryan won the Teesside's Business Idea on a Beermat competition. In 2023, Ryan was nominated for the Most Inspirational Member of University Staff award.
