In Search of History: Teacher's Resource Pack

This photocopiable teacher's resource pack contains teachers' notes, case study sheets, extension sheets and foundation sheets, and is aimed at teachers of Key Stage 3 History. The case studies allow pupils to study topics in depth, which is a key feature of the revised History National Curriculum, foundation material aims to help pupils with learning difficulties, while extension material challenges more advanced pupils. Guidance on note taking and research skills give pupils the opportunity to develop and practise essential study skills and a range of activities are offered which should encourage pupils to understand and appraise material, compare and contrast evidence and examine the origins and reliability of sources.
