Suffolk Villages

The roots of Suffolk lie in her villages. They have adapted well to the needs of modern generations, yet still keep their timeless character and charm; a source of pride and delight to villagers alike. This volume contains descriptions of just over one hundred villages, recording the history, architecture, atmosphere, anecdotes, people and events which have shaped each village and made them unique. Complementing the text are fifty full-colour photgraphs taken by local photographer, Mark Mitchels. They show Suffolk at its best in all seasons and demonstrate the appeal of its villages and countryside in the 21st century.
