Illustrates late-1944 Allied struggles and German resistance with dynamic visuals and a serialized graphic novel installment.
Monroe Publications welcomes the next issue in its World War II Comix series: Battle of the Bulge - Attacks and Counterattacks. This graphic history comic book chronicles the continuing campaign in northern Europe in late 1944 and early 1945. The sixth issue in the popular series also includes a new installment of the serialized graphic novel, Separated by War.
After the steady but frustratingly slow advance to break out of Normandy (as told in World War II Comix' D-Day and the Campaign Across France), the Allied forces moved rapidly to the edge of the German homeland. But stiff resistance from the Wehrmacht's West Wall defenses slowed the advance. The Allied leadership then sought ways to do an end run around the strong static forces and fortifications. The Allies also had to contend with extended supply lines and leaving some German strongholds at their backs. Battle of the Bulge - Attacks and Counterattacks reveals every detail of the campaign through original lavish visuals.
