Computers and Kids

For children today, growing up with computers is as natural as growing up with books, teddy bears, cars and television. Computers play a significant role in helping children develop creative thinking patterns and good problem-solving skills. The challenge for parents (many of whom still feel uncomfortable with computers) is to introduce children to the full potential of computers in an enjoyable and educational way. Topics include how to teach your child the rudiments of the keyboard and mouse, health and safety, suitable software for ages 1 to 8, good and bad computer games and CD-ROM.
