Over recent years, no other technique has grown to such importance as that of NMR spectroscopy. It is used in all branches of science where precise structural determination is required and where the nature of interactions and reactions in solution is being studied. Annual Reports on NMR Spectroscopy has established itself as a means for the specialist and non-specialist alike to become familiar with new applications of the technique in all branches of chemistry, including biochemistry and pharmaceutics. Volume 41 of Annual Reports on NMR Spectroscopy consists of four reports covering diverse areas of molecular science. The first one is Cobalt-59 NMR Spectroscopy by J.C.C. Chan and S.C.F. Au-Yeung. Following this there is an account of Advances in Theoretical and Physical Aspects of Spin-Spin Coupling Constants by R.H. Contreras, J.E. Peralta, C.G. Giribet, M.C. Ruiz de Azua and J.C. Facelli. The third contribution is by S. Dusold and A. Sebald on Dipolar Recoupling under Magic-Angle-Spinning Conditions. The final chapter relates to the Characterization of Porous Media using NMR Methods by P.J. Berrie.
Rezensionen / Stimmen
"Annual Reports on NMR Spectroscopy, Volume 41, under the able editorship of Grahmam A. Webb, continues in the series' tradition of presenting an eclectic and timely collection of reviews on recent advances and hot topics in nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. ...faithful in citing seminal literature and past reviews, while including most, if not all, recent work in the past 10 years. For those who have an interest in NMR spectroscopy, this book would be an excellent resource." -JOURNAL OF AMERICAN CHEMICAL SOCIETY
