Warrington Street Plan

This new edition is now published in full colour and the reference panel shows a new colour scheme that depicts important buildings with different colour infills e.g. educational establishments have an orange infill and hospitals and hospices have a green infill. Roads that have restricted access are shown with a purple infill and pedestrianized roads have a pink infill. Fire Stations and Post Offices are now shown by red squares and stars respectively, while Police Stations are represented by a blue triangle. Parking symbols are shown in blue. The scale is shown in metric as well as imperial. The inset map of Appleton Thorn and Stretton has been extended southwards by half a kilometre to include Junction 10 on the M56. To accommodate this larger inset a corresponding half a kilometre of mapping has been lost from the main mapping where the inset has been moved upwards. A larger and more open type face has been used in the street index for better legibility. Selected places of interest are now listed within the index and are highlighted in bold italic type.
