Fuzzy systems is a technology that is gaining wide acceptance. In an effort to establish a solid framework for learning, this volume develops a range of adaptive fuzzy systems and applies them to a variey of engineering problems. The author summarizes state-of-the-art methods for automatic tuning of the parameters and structures of fuzzy logic systems. He also shows details of their application to various control and signal processing problems; and how to analyze the performance of the resulting systems.
