The Ringling Circus Museum in Sarasota, Florida, was the first institution of its kind in the USA to document the rich history of the American circus. It was established in 1948 to honor the memory of circus impresario John Ringling, who moved the winter quarters of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey show to Sarasota in 1927. This new addition to the Scala Art Spaces series illustrates the museum's development over time and highlights many of its most popular artifacts.
