How to Consumer Court

In most instances of petty annoyances it may not be a bad idea to adopt a suitable version of grin-and-bear-it. However, when the issue is of sufficient importance for you to want a formal resolution, there are options to choose from. One of which options is to go the route of consumer courts under The Consumer Protection Act, 2019, here after referred to as the Act or CP Act.

The advantages of going the CP Act route are that it is simple to the extent that it is shorn of almost all provisions of complicated laws or codes and, hence, one can handle the matter oneself, although it is advised to engage a professional to represent you.
