Rama Velpuri is a management consultant in the software industry. He has over 22 years of managerial and technical experience in the IT industry spanning several continents. Velpuri was vice president of the Clarity PPM division of CA Technologies. Previously, he was the CTO of Kenexa Technologies, a Pennsylvania-based company in the HR vertical which he helped take public. Velpuri was the founder and CEO of Oramasters Inc. As an executive director at Oracle Corporation, he was instrumental in establishing the Oracle India Product Engineering Center in Bangalore and the Oracle Application Development Center in Hyderabad, India. During his tenure at Oracle, Velpuri authored nine technology books that were translated into German, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Dutch, Japanese and Mandarin.
