Managing Children with Problems

This study takes a broad view of the management of children with problems, containing contributions by psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists and educationalists. The topics discussed include the problems of the under-achieving child, hyperactivity, school phobia, substance abuse and social and environmental deprivation, all of which can lead to behavioural disturbance. The material is topical, relevant and international in scope, and adopts multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural perspectives.
