The tours described here range from 3 to 60 miles. Each description includes a map, directions, information about the trail or road surface, and the length and difficulty of the ride. An appendix covers where to stay or camp, do your laundry, buy supplies and repair or rent a bike. Tours include South Dakota's Mount Rushmore, Wind Cave National Park, Jewel Cave National Monument and the Badlands National Park and North Dakota's Theodore Roosevelt National Park and Knife River Indian Villages. In Montana it covers Glacier National Park and Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument; in Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park and Devil's Tower National Monument, and in Idaho, Nez Perce National Historic Park and Craters of the Moon National Monument.
