Trucker's Atlas of Britain

Endorsed by the Road Haulage Association and Railtrack and produced in association with Railtrack and the Department of Transport, this atlas provides useful information for the driver of any high-sided vehicle. 1600 road and rail bridge heights are shown on the 3 miles to 1 inch (9km to 1cm /1:190,000) scale mapping and low bridge symbols are also depicted on A and B roads throughout the atlas. Special features show height restriction road signs and the safety clearance code as well as how to avoid being a bridge basher. There is a detailed explanation of truckers' symbols used in the mapping and notorious motorway junctions are shown diagrammatically, complete with restricted junctions. Low bridge heights are also included in central and district maps of London and in district maps of 4 further conurbation's.
