Training the Team

This report considers each of the recommendations in `Constructing the Team' that relates to training and identifies the action to be taken by Government and industry. The working group for this guide was chaired by Hugh Try from the Construction Industry Employers Council.Working Group 6s (WG6s) remit covered craft and operative training and that of supervisors and technicians. It did not touch on professional and management training which was taken to be Included in the remit of Working Group 9. However, WG6 believes that links and ladders of progression between these levels are of great importance.
