Part of a series based on the childhood of an actual person using their own photograph album and memories, this book focuses on the childhood of Tarun Patel, an Asian immigrant from Uganda, whose family settled in Wembley in 1972. The book gives a view of life in the Seventies, the experiences of settling into a new country and culture and suggestions as to how readers can gather similiar information about their own families.
