About France

This edition aims to develop a variety of individual and group study skills in pupils through an investigation of life in France. The text covers French history, transport, food, shopping, leisure activities, science, technology and homes. A number of end-of-chapter activities are provided, such as researching, note-taking, information selection and evaluation, making comparisons, using alternative reference sources and offers opportunities for cross-curricular projects and extended pieces of work.
