This book provides a range of problems and investigations for A-level mechanics students to encourage them to apply physical, practical and problem solving approaches to their work. Short qualitative problems and longer investigations are provided as well as broad, open-ended investigations to be used as projects. The material is designed to be incorporated into the A-level curriculum. There is also a teacher's book available containing notes and full answers for all the problems. The second part, which is photocopiable, provides "hints and nudges" for pupils which the teacher can give the student when they need assistance.
