Drivers are now advised when you see a horse on a road, you should slow down to a maximum of 10 mph. Be patient, do not sound your horn or rev your engine. When safe to do so, pass wide and slow, allowing at least 2 metres of space.

Rezensionen / Stimmen
'Ride Safe is a marvellous book, one that will both educate and undoubtedly save lives of horses and riders and make for a safe and happy environment for horse riders and those who meet them on the road or countryside.' -- Jacqui Broderick 'This version has been updated, and is essential reading for anyone riding on the roads. With clear advice, illustrations and summary quizzes, this little book, designed to accompany the exam, is packed with information designed to help keep riders safe in modern road conditions. From how to open a gate to dealing with low-flying aircraft, it also covers off-road riding. There's also advice for non-riders on how to pass horses safely on the roads. Even if you don't plan to go on and take the award, this is required reading for any rider.'
