Author and screenwriter Tom Taylor signed his deal for his first feature TV film Castaways (2002) with Czech state television at the age of 17. He worked as an executive producer and director in TV and film for both adult an children's programming. He has since emerged as a significant writer and publisher in the international world of the graphic novel, working with some of the finest artists in the Czech Republic, with a growing list of high-quality and classic productions. Matyas Namai studied graphic design at the High School of Advertising in Prague. He now works as a freelance artist and is mainly involved in illustrations, comics and occasional storyboards. He is the illustrator of the bestselling George Orwell's 1984, also published by Palazzo.
