Ruth Tait is Former Partner in the Board Practice at Heidrick and Struggles in London, UK, where she specialised in multi-country searches for chief executives and non-executive chairmen and board members across sectors. Before joining Heidrick, she led Korn Ferry's Board practice in London. Her previous background included leading the strategy consulting practice of one of the then Big Eight accounting firms in Sydney,and senior management and policy positions in government and Parliaments in Australia and Canada, including as an Advisor to a Canadian cabinet minister. Ruth is currently an executive coach to business leaders in the UK, a business author (Roads to the Top, 1995) and is based in London and Seattle. She is interested above all in how leaders reach their full potential personally and professionally and how they maximise fulfilment and contribution in all aspects of their lives.
