This three-volume series covers paediatric radiology. It is arranged by organ systems for easy reference and rapid identification of paediatric symptomology, underlying pathological conditions and anatomic development. Each chapter consists of pertinent clinical manifestations, diagnostic imaging features and correlation of the various imaging modalities as they apply to a particular condition. The advantages and disadvantages in each area are discussed from the diagnostic point of view, along with major clinical diseases that relate to radiologic procedures. Emphasis is placed on the clinical correlation with the image findings. All modalities are featured: standard radiography; magnetic resonance imaging; computed tomography; nuclear medicine; sonography; and more invasive procedures such as angiography.
