This manual is designed to provide the health and safety officer and the incident safety officer with the information necessary to perform the various tasks assigned to them, and to provide direction to resources that will further their knowledge of safety-related issues. It also covers the applicable performance requirements of NFPA 1500 and NFPA 1021.
