Lately discovered, this is Steinbeck's introduction, commentary and script for the 1952 film, "Viva Zapata!", for which he received two Academy Award nominations. It tells the story of Emiliano Zapata's part in the Mexican Revolution, championing the cause of the peasants between 1909 and 1919.
