Retrieval of Images from Database Based on Contents

Advancement in Technology has encouraged the use of large image databases to serve the needs from Social, Architectural, Industrial and Medical application areas. To fulfil the requirements in all these fields a important branch of image processing is originated called Content Based image retrieval. This book contributes in the same field by exploring, experimenting and presenting the effective use of the novel ideas from frequency domain and spatial domain image processing techniques.
