This edition takes into account changes in recent years in drug development and the clinical use of drugs and the changes in nurse education. Major revision has taken place in the first section of the book which focuses on general principles. The second section focuses on therapeutics with the chapter division by disease states retained with additional chapters on: liver disease, drugs used in critical care, drug therapy in pregnancy and labour.
