Tom Crean's true story is brought to vivid life in this large format graphic novel which manages to pack a huge amount of action and adventure into its colourful pages. From his childhood in Annascaul, Co Kerry to his journeys to the Antarctic with Scott and Shackleton, it chronicles his life in both words and dramatic pictures, and what a life. Like any good story it returns him home to his sweetheart and to his native Annascaul.
