Light on Australia

A photographic essay, this book explores the changes in light in Australia, from the subtle filtered glow of a rainforest to the harsh brilliance of the desert interior. The photographs are complemented by Barry Slade's thoughts on the landscapes he visits and the people who inhabit them. In 1990 he won two awards in the Olympus International Photo Contest and is also the author of "Capricornia Country".
