In this book, Professor Verne and his crew travel from the North Sea Continental Shelf, through the Gulf stream, over the mid-Atlantic Ridge, down the Marianas Trench and into the Arctic Sea. The answers to plenty of questions can be found, such as how much water there is in the seas, why sea water is salty and how coral reefs are formed. There is also a quiz at the end of the book.
