The study aims to find out various electronic resources in Physics in select libraries. Libraries have good collection of electronic resources and allow full time access to them throughout the campus. Libraries encourage the usage and utility of electronic resources through various awareness programmes and workshops. Libraries acquire e-resources through their own acquisition policies and manage them. The study also reveals various accessibility, storage and retrieval techniques regarding electronic resources in Physics. The findings state that electronic resources are gaining importance among the community of faculties, research scholars and scientists. Users access these resources through internet from their work places as and when required and use the information mainly for the purpose of research and development activities. Librarians play a pivotal role in the planning and rethinking of various high quality electronic resources to be subscribed and acquired in their libraries to serve their clientele.
