On a mercy mission to Budapest, taking medical supplies into post-Ceaucescu Romania, Helen Sinclair heard of a little boy dying of a curable strain of leukaemia, due to the lack of facilities. This is the story of her appeal to bring this child, and others, to England for live-saving treatment. Helen's single-handed battle to bring Richard to Great Ormond Street Hospital received wide media attention. Painfully aware from an earlier visit of the need in romania itself, Helen is now raising funds through her charity, Topsy's Children, to build a medical centre in Richard's home town.
