D.S. Siceloff graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a B.A. in English. Afterwards, he moved to New York City to pursue acting, and learned that he didn't like acting one bit. A move back to North Carolina found him studying computer programming before he landed a full-time job as a photogrammetrist, a digital mapmaker. He eventually found a job as a database administrator staring at a computer screen all day long, until the economic slump in 2001 left him unemployed. He then put his degree to work and found a job teaching high school language arts. After the novelty of teaching came to a close, he returned to school to study teeth and find a more hands-on job. When he isn't traveling the world, Siceloff spends time at home in North Carolina. His hobbies include hunting down roadside attractions, birding, and power metal.
